New Connector Routes to Roanoke and Tri-Cities
Four County Transit is offering connections on the New Freedom Routes operated by District Three Public Transit. These routes offer transportation to veterans hospitals and other out-of-area medical facilities. We will connect to the Bristol to Roanoke route on Mondays and to the Wytheville to Tri-Cities route on Tuesdays.
For the Bristol to Roanoke route, we connect at 6:20 a.m. at the Huddle House off Exit 19 in Abingdon and return at 6:10 p.m. to the same location.
For the Wytheville to Tri-Cities route, we connect at 8:15a.m. at the Huddle House off Exit 19 in Abingdon and at 4:15 p.m. to the same location.
If you need to ride one of these routes, you must first contact District Three Public Transit (276-783-3236 or 866-991-1623) and schedule your trip. After District Three schedules your trip, you must call Four County Transit to schedule your connecting trip to the Huddle House stop. Please contact us no later than the Thursday prior to your trip.
